| Hi, I got my hands on a copy of Noctum this summer and began to play it with my friends.
Just like me they enjoyd it and were playing really much now. We have playad threw the pre-printed adventures.
And i wonder, are you working on new adventures to Noctum? Is the rollplay dead like the souls of my players?
Cheers
/Michael | |

| Hi and welcome, glad you like the game. As of now there’s one story in the core book and seven story seeds in Vivisection. At the moment we’re working on No Place Like Home and have written about half of the text. It has been kind of slow as I study fulltime as well but hopefully I’ll be able to increase the output as things have slowed down a bit on the study front. This book will contain a couple of towns which are meant to be used as setting material. The book will contain a lot of hooks for stories and can be used as a toolset when creating your campaigns | |

| Greetings, Nabu, here from Canada. Just bought the core book and vivisection: Awesome ! Great work and I'm eager to start a gaming group a.s.a.p. Is there any published adventures other than those currently in the books ? Plenty of nice seeds all over anyway | |

| Hello Nabukodoko, thx for the kudos There are no stories out but No Place Like Home has just been sent for proofing. In here you will find four settings which will give a lot ideas on how to run stories specific to the locations. They’re greatly inspired by Silent Hill and Alone in the Dark. | |

I was just reading a bit of Noctum last night. It's just a great, solid game and I have no idea why more folks don't know about it. I know you said you didn't want to do PDF, but I really think this would get it a lot more exposure! Please reconsider!

| It might be possible to do a “Noctum lite” of about 20-50 pages using the simplified one-shot rules…It’s not a bad idea to get a pdf of some kind out there. Do you have any suggestions on which parts of the game that would be important to cover in the quick rule version? | |

The Intro, generated characters (save character generation rules for full purchase of the book) and explanation of each character's abilities (if you want to give a taste of magic) and how they work on a separate sheet, combat rules and necessary tables, one or two half-breeds to give folks a taste of the antagonists (the Flesh Doll and Chainer are my recommendations). Maybe a quick-run adventure to make this game capable of being ran at conventions? If you do choose to include an adventure, I would make sure to have a distortion occur at some point, because any correlation to Silent Hill will help players and GMs get a sense of familiarity, and it's never bad to be slightly linked to a game series so well received. Lastly, if the end of the adventure is a no-win scenario where the characters die a horrible, brutal death, perhaps having stalwarted some greater evil for their efforts, that will communicate the dark wickedness of this game.
